Week 4: It's Our Responsibility
The video below is well worth watching. One of the main points in the video is "Given my abilities, what will be my response?". All of us have been gifted with amazing abilities in the teaching field. I want to challenge all of you to make the ordinary, extraordinary. If this is to be the greatest year at the Greatest School, what will each of us do to create this for our students. Think of ways you can increase the intrigue, mystery, and excitement in your classroom. Create the environment that at the end of the day they don't want to leave and can't wait to come back the next day.
Another main point in the video is, "Leaders find ways to get people to believe in themselves.". All of you are leaders with your students. It is within your power every day to get them to believe in themselves. Once we get students to believe in themselves, they will "pay society back in ways we cannot imagine.".
