Second Grade Happenings
February 5, 2016
Our Valentine's Day Party is next Friday. If you choose to send in Valentines with your child, I ask that they bring enough Valentines for each of the 27 students in the class. Here's a helpful hint for your child to save time getting their cards ready - ❤️ just have your child sign their name. There is no need address them to individual students. This also streamlines passing the cards out and allows more time for us to enjoy the party. Please do not include any candy with the cards due Noblesville's wellness policy and food allergies.
Squirrel Update:There have been no further squirrel sightings in the courtyard. All of our evidence points to the fact that our furry friend escaped so it looks like efforts have paid off. It's amazing what a little creative problem solving and curious second graders can do!
If you would like to volunteer in our classroom during the months of February or March, please use the Sign Up Genius link. If these times aren't convenient, let me know what is convenient for you and we can schedule a time for you to help out.
Second Grade Author Open House will be February 10th. Join us at 6:15 in the Media Center as your students showcase the hard work they have put into creating a nonfiction book! A PTO meeting will be held the same evening at 7:00
