Teachers, please make sure you have all syncing of Schoology gradebooks, grades, and conduct all done before the deadline. Also, you need to make sure all your assignments have the correct dates for the PR4 and not out of range. If you do any of this after the deadline your grade books will not be correct. Please see all the information below on the timelines.
NOTES
For an assignment to fall within the PR4 window, its Actual Due date must be no later than 11/22/2019
Teachers need to be sure all grades for PR4 are entered into Skyward by 11:59 pm on Monday, December 2
No grade change requests should be made for progress reports

Flippity
Have you tried game-based learning in your class? Game-based learning is an effective strategy used to enhance the learning experience of students. Flippity (flippity.net) is a FREE online tool that can help teachers on their path to gamifying their instruction.
This tool is simple and easy to learn and both teachers and students can use Flippity templates to create flashcards, crossword puzzles, word searches, scavenger hunts, Jeopardy-like review games, Bingo games, and track student progress.
To get started with Flippity, simply access the site and choose an activity template. When you select the template, you will be prompted to make a copy of the file because the templates are all Google Sheets. This means you’ll always be able to find the activities that you create, even if you lose the website link! WOOHOO!! After you’ve entered your information, you’ll publish the sheet to the web, and then copy/paste the link in the appropriate tab. VOILA! You’re students are now ready to play!
Want to learn more? Check out this Educational Activities and Games with Flippity online post.
Wondering how you can apply Flippity to your own content area? Take a look at these great learning games!
- 7th Grade ELA Scavenger Hunt activity created by our fabulous Librarian, Lindsay Nalley
- 6th Grade ELA Homophones Escape Room designed by Karen Goolsbee
Teachers can use Flippity in so many different ways to enhance student learning. If you haven’t tried it, yet … put it on your “to-do-asap” list!
Eduphoria Workshop Is Now Known As Strive
