"Each of us must work for his own improvement, and at the same time share a general responsibility for all humanity."
Marie Curie
Our Mission
We believe that through teaching and learning, we have the opportunity to impact and positively change the lives of our students. We believe that all students are capable of defining and experiencing success, ultimately building confidence in themselves while instilling a spirit of generosity, drive, passion, and focus. We work in collaboration with San Jacinto College to help at-risk students attain college credit with the aspiration of earning an Associate’s Degree and Distinguished High School diploma in four years.
Welcome Back!
Thus far we have examined and developed learning targets, getting feedback from one as we've refined our L.T.'s and looking at how to communicate our learning targets to our students. In addition to this, we will also be spending some time looking at the performance of understanding, and success criteria, or has Hattie says in the video below, "It's when kids know what success looks like before they start." Please take a couple of minutes to watch the video below (really it's less than a couple of minutes).
