Kindergarten Soft Start

This year our kindergarten students transitioned into the start of the 2019-2020 school year with a soft start.

On Monday and Tuesday students and families had the opportunity to become familiar with their school and many of the kindergarten routines new to students such as lunch, specials, playing with new peers, and bus rides. Teachers and school staff had the opportunity to get to know the students and families.

On Wednesday and Thursday, there was no school for kindergartners while teachers conducted home visits for every student. The kindergarten soft start supported students and families ease into kindergarten and feel comfortable transitioning into a whole new and wonderful world.
