A Message from the Principal

We are so excited to welcome our Crestwood students and staff into the building to kick-off another great school year! It's been a busy summer, full of enrichment programs and summer learning, but there is nothing like the excitement a new school year brings!


I know many of you are wondering what the school day will look like in regards to COVID-19 restrictions. You can find a quick overview of our plans by clicking THIS LINK. In addition to the notes documented there, we will continue to use social distancing as much as feasible, and our custodial team will continue to clean and sanitize more frequently. Teachers will also build in time for hand-washing and hand-sanitization.


UPDATED (8/9/21): At this time Oldham County Schools is requiring masks for all people inside school buildings.

Summer Learning

New Phone System & System Outage

Thank you for your patience as our new phone system was connected this past week and through today's phone/Internet outages. If you have called the school and left a message that was not returned, please call us again on Monday, as some messages may have been lost in the transition.

Meet Your Teacher Night

We can't wait for Meet Your Teacher Night on Monday, August 9th! Crestwood families can come into the building, meet their teachers, drop off supplies, and get a quick view of classrooms. We ask that families keep their visits short and show up at staggered times to keep our crowd size low. You may enter the building through the front and back lobby doors. Masks are recommended but not required at this time.


Suggested Arrival Times by Last Name:

A-I 6:00-6:30

H-Q 6:30-7:00

R-Z 7:00-7:30


If you have not yet done so, you may pay school fees and drop off enrollment paperwork at a station in our front lobby. There will also be a table set up to find out your teacher assignment if you don't already have it.

We are so excited to welcome the following new staff members to our Crestwood Elementary community! Each of them brings a wealth of experience in their role and is a great fit for our Crestwood team!

PTA Updates

Please join the PTA again this year! Members will receive a new car magnet. You can be as involved as you want to be! There will be incentives for the class with the most PTA members! Kindergarten parents can join the PTA on August 9th once you know your child's teacher.

Transportation Updates

Per federal mandate, all bus riders and drivers will be required to wear a face mask that covers their nose and mouth while on the bus this year.


If you haven't turned in your Transportation Form to Cari Rairick - do that ASAP! Initial routes are set, but you can still be added to start the first full week of school.


If you know of anyone that would be interested in driving a bus, #TeamOldham is hiring!
