A Peek at the Week

Earth Day Celebration

Our student council along with Mrs. Aleka and Mrs. Eleni did a fantastic job creating Earth Day Games for the entire school to enjoy! The 2nd - 5th grade students ONLY used recycled materials to make games for students to enjoy. Younger students were paired up with older students to ride go-carts, make paper airplanes, play hockey, create musical instruments, participate in an obstacle course, and a fun game of bowling. Our students showed great leadership skills and excellent team work in order to create and build so many eco-friendly games. This was an awesome STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activity. It is important to incorporate STEM learning opportunities so that our students are prepared to think deeply in order to become educators, researchers, and leaders who can solve challenges and be prepared for their future.

7 Days Remain

Only 7 more school days remain! Our students and teachers are quite busy as we near the end of the school year. We are having countdowns in our classrooms, practicing for our graduation/ end of the year program, busy making our memory books, assessments, cleaning, and much more.

We have many exciting events that will be taking place in the last 7 days of the school year.

This time of year is always bitter-sweet. We are so thrilled that school will be out and we could enjoy our summer vacations. However, we are also sad at the same time. We have already had several students shed a tear or express how much they will miss school. We will also be saying good-bye to our 5th grade students who have been at PCA for the last 8 years.
