Huskytastic Summer Learning Fun
Thank you to those who completed the summer learning survey. We had enough interest to proceed to the next step.
We are now ready for our families to sign their children up for the summer learning activities in order to plan staffing.
This will be a unique summer learning experience in that it will integrate STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) into learning. Students will learn reading and math skills while participating in hands on learning activities.
While we are still in the planning stages, we know we want to have a weekly field trip. Students in attendance all week will earn a field trip at the end of the week that incorporates the theme of the week.
This will not be a paper pencil worksheet learning session. We will use technology and hands on activities for students to learn in an engaging manner.
One theme we know we will be doing is Going Batty. Students will learn all about caves and caverns and will enjoy a trip to either Smoke Hole Caverns or Seneca Caverns. Other fun themes are in the works and will be shared soon!
Transportation will be provided.
The Huskytastic Summer Fun days will be from 8:00 - 1:00 p.m.
Breakfast and lunch will be served each day to all participants.
We need to determine numbers of attendees in order to plan staffing.
Please sign your child up if you think you are interested. You may cancel your registration at any time. Late registrations will be accepted if space is available.
Please complete a form for each child.
