Celebrate the End of the 2019 - 2020 School Year
June 3rd at 7:30pm ~ Virtual 8th Grade Awards Ceremony ~
The virtual ceremony will involve our 8th Grade Teaching Staff, Guidance Counselors and Administration.
The Zoom invite for the Virtual Award ceremony is below, the capacity for our Zoom room for this event is 300 participants – we ask that if you plan to attend the event, you use the same screen and device as your child.
After our 8th grade students are recognized for their accomplishments at the virtual ceremony, the content area teacher, will be emailing a certificate of the award home before the close of the school year – June 10th.

~ June 10th (2:00pm – 3:00pm) – Car Parade Ceremony to honor our 8th graders and our Middle School Students ~
~ All Pottsgrove Middle School students and families may participate in the parade ~
On June 10th, which would have been the last day of school, the middle school staff will be inviting students and parents to a ceremonial car parade to celebrate the end of the school year and celebrate our 8th graders transitioning to the High School.
Parents and students should follow the parade route, in their car, pictured below as the middle school staff line up around the perimeter of the entrance, exit and rear parking lot of the middle school. ( maintaining social distancing and wearing masks).
- Cars would not be permitted to stop
- No one will be permitted to exit vehicles
- Families would be able to decorate their cars as they so choose to celebrate our 8th graders and promote Pottsgrove
- Before our 8th Graders exit the parade they will be provided a gift from the middle school staff and the PGMS PTA
- The event will be rain or shine. If the weather is unsafe (thunderstorms, high winds, etc.) we would need to cancel. The event could be rescheduled at another date if possible
- Drop off and pick up of materials would not occur during this event
