Cool November

We have started November strong at Bryan County Middle High.

Remember we have no school for Thanksgiving Break on 11/22-11/26.

College GO Week is this week! Wear your college gear!

ALL SCHOOL NEWS: (6-12)

  • Schools were built for scholars to have safe, engaging, and enriching experiences. We have seen a huge increase in "fight club" and various physical aggressions. Because of this trend, we are continuing what was put in place last year. Scholars who participate in a fight will be assigned 10 days of OSS with a pending hearing for Alternative Placement. Scholars involved in the fight, which may include things such as: videoing, instigating, watching or planning, may be also subject to 5 days of OSS. We are working hard to make sure our campus is a safe place for kids to learn and grow. We appreciate your support.
  • Please help us with our dress code. Dress codes are a critical part of our school's climate.
  • Attendance is critical -- please attend school daily and on time and in your assigned area.
  • Masks are now optional.
  • Continue to be a REDskin who is respectful, engaged, and dependable to earn PBIS points
  • Next Kona Ice is December 2
  • Home Basketball game is Friday at 6:00 PM

UPPER SCHOOL NEWS: (9-12)

  • 8th grade CTAE Visit to HS programs is Wednesday

We are excited about the renovations starting in our Weight Room and Baseball and Softball fields, so excuse our dust outside as we prepare for amazing new facilities thanks to our Superintendent and Board of Education. During this time, we may run into issues that we have to deal with that are outside of our control zone-- but we are so thankful that in the end, we will have new facilities.

We will also continue to work on mitigating circumstances regarding CoVID. We are thankful that what we are doing on campus is working and we are able to be in school. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us. Thank you for your support and for helping us continue to stay face to face.

Thank you for all you do to support Bryan County Middle High School!

Bryan County Middle High is a PBIS School

Scholars can earn points each day by showing off and showcasing our PBIS expectations by being a REDskin who is : respectful, engaged, and dependable. Items they can buy in the PBIS store range from free admission to athletic events, tee shirts, lunches out, candy, free tardy passes, and other items that the students have identified. We believe these expectations are a great blend of Middle and High School expectations and they are lifelong skills!

Advisement/Clubs/Enrichment/READ daily at 10:10-10:30
