RISD PreK/Headstart for ages 3 or 4
2019-2020 Robstown ISD Pre-K Full Day- Head Start Partner
Free Full Day Pre-Kindergarten and Headstart for eligible 3 and 4 year olds
Early childhood education is vitally important to your child's development and school-readiness. Eligible PK3 and 4 year old children will receive:
- FREE full day of instruction
- FREE breakfast, lunch and snack
- Applications accepted for Head Start and Children with Disabilities

Head Start ages 3-4 is located at Robert Driscoll Elementary School
PK is available at all three RISD Elementary Campuses (Robert Driscoll ES, Lotspeich ES, San Pedro ES).
Students that do not qualify for free PK may apply to our classroom at Lotspeich Elementary (space is limited).
What to Bring?
- Birth Certificate for the child
- 2019 proof of income from all adults in household (current check stub, W-2, or food stamp eligibility letter)
- Parent's Photo ID
- Child's Social Security Card (if available)
- Child's Immunization Record/Medical Information
- Proof of Residency
- Proof of Guardianship if applicable (example: child is not currently residing with parent)
- Verification documents, if needed, could include food stamps/SNAP, medicaid, employment, school record, public housing residency, section 8 residency, domestic violence, incarceration, current immunizations, current physical, current dental
Robstown ISD accepts students outside district boundaries--apply for an out of district transfer
