About Us

Mustang Mania

Maintain Respect, Always do your best,

Need to be Responsible, In and Around

Hello Mustangs!

I hope your week was a good one. I would like to remind students and parents of the importance of using proper PPE and sanitizing protocols. These habits are going to be vital to the safety and success of our Return to Learn plan once Face to Face instruction resumes.

As the fall season is upon us, make sure to get outside and enjoy the fall weather, this goes double for your students! Leaves are falling kids…Get a rake and help your parents out!

Office Hours

Please remember that office hours are for student academic support. If you wish to meet with a teacher please email them first to set up a time for the meeting.

Virtual parent teacher conferences were a success! For those of you that perhaps missed a time with a teacher, please send them an email so the teacher can set up a meeting with you. We are encouraging parents to reach out if technology did not allow you to attend a conference with a teacher, or if the time slots were already filled.

Grades and Athletics

The Athletic Dept. is working on a modified Winter 1 athletics schedule for boys and girls. As we are attempting to finalize a schedule, make sure your grades are all caught up. In order to participate in AMS athletics, students must be passing five out of six classes. More information will be sent out in the weeks to come.

Family Supports

The Family Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (Family Center) is the statewide, parent-directed center within Children’s Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) and the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services (MDHHS). The mission of the Family Center is to support and connect Michigan families of children and youth with special health care needs, provide family-centered leadership throughout Michigan’s health care settings, and partner in the decision-making process within the systems of care for children and youth with special health care needs.

The Family Center is excited to offer a series of free Virtual Parent Connect Calls twice monthly. Our next Call is scheduled for Wednesday October 21st at 4:00 pm EST. The theme for this event is Parent to Parent Support.

We would appreciate you sharing our event flyer to help make the call a success.
