2019-2020 DRUM MAJORS
CHS’s Band program, under the direction of Mr. Carlos Aguero and Ms. Sarah Bowerman, is in great hands with this year’s student leaders, our 2019-2020 Drum Majors: Trent Gaiser (lead), Heather Walkley, and Andrea Apodaca. The drum majors are excited about this year’s show “Midnight in Transylvania”, a musical story of unrequited love between a vampire and a human, including powerful music and elaborate props. Trent’s goal is to finish in the top three in Super State. All three band leaders agree that passion for music and the relationships formed through band make all of their hard work and dedication worth it. Check out the Wolfpack Marching Band’s show during half time of football games and at competition!
CASEY LIKES IS “ALMOST FAMOUS”
Casey Likes, CHS/COA Senior, will be starring in a new musical based on the 2000 movie "Almost Famous" that is slated for Broadway in 2020. He is currently in rehearsals in NY for a run at the Old Globe in San Diego in October before they move to Broadway! Casey’s proud mom is Ms. Stephanie Likes, CHS Theatre Director. Congratulations, Casey!
MCC SPECTRUM STUDENT EXHIBITION

Help support CHS’s Positive Referral program by helping us win $400 to $3,000! All you have to do is shop, dine or watch a movie at Chandler Fashion Center from Aug. 1-Feb. 29, and Chandler High will earn money toward recognizing students who exhibit great character. Last year we were able to give away three chrome books to students who received positive referrals and had their names drawn at the end of each semester.
Log receipts online 24/7 at shopandlog.com/chandler, or if you do not need your receipts returned, drop them in the collection box located on the Upper Level bridge near Barnes & Noble.
