Here are some things that happened in September:

Learn 360

Big picture
Learn 360 is a resource that contains over 153,000 resources in the form of full-length videos, images, audiobooks, teacher guides, student activities, interactives, articles, and many other classroom resources.


Learn360 is found in the Library Resources folder in Launchpad. See your librarian for more details on utilizing this resource!

Science Alive

Region 20's Living Science Center is providing live and taped zoom sessions called Science Alive! Their first session focused on germs, how appropriate!


Each session is less than 15 minutes and focuses on resources available in the center.

Sora & SAPL

Did you know that NEISD students have access to SAPL's ebook collection? Students can connect their NEISD Sora account to SAPL and search/borrow any ebooks from the SAPL collection. Follow the easy steps below to connect your account today!

What's Coming Up in October

TEENtober

TeenTober is a nationwide celebration hosted by libraries every October and aims to celebrate teens, promote teen services and the innovative ways teen services helps teens learn new skills, and fuel their passions in and outside the library.


Seahawk Library will be promoting TEENtober with various promotions. Stay tuned!

Texas Book Festival

The 2020 Texas Teen Book Festival will take place online on October 31 and November 1. The Festival is free and open to the public!


Don’t worry, you don’t have to be a teen to attend—we welcome readers of all ages. The Festival will feature nationally and critically recognized authors, writing workshops, and workshops for educators.
