What to expect at the Learning Conferences

  • An opportunity for parents to share information about their child. Be ready to talk about your child - their interests, strengths and learning traits.

  • An opportunity for parents to ask questions about well-being, general progress or school routines.

  • An opportunity for teachers to talk about your child’s well being; their social skills, attitude to learning & use of the GROW values; and ways parents can help at home.

  • Students are encouraged to accompany their parents to the Learning Conferences. If siblings are also coming along, the library will be open for supervision (school aged children only).

  • Appointments are ten minutes long and there are other families before or after yours so it is important for everyone to keep to the schedule. A bell will ring to alert everyone that it’s time to changeover.

  • There will be waiting chairs on the patios outside each classroom - but given the time of year please dress warmly!
