FOOD DRIVE ALL NEXT WEEK!!!!
We are SO excited and looking forward to the Citywide PTO School's Out for Summer Food Drive next week! It's going to be out of this galaxy! ;)
Each day during lunch we will have team buckets located on the stage in the cafeteria for students to deposit their money into. We will be present at each lunch period next week.
As a reminder, students want to donate Pennies and Paper (paper money and checks - made payable to the Brazos Valley Food Bank) for Positive points into your team bucket and they will place all other coins in their competitors’ buckets to deduct points.
Each afternoon we will announce the leaders.Having a food pantry at Oakwood is so important to so many of our students and we are grateful for the help of the Brazos Valley Food Bank.
Let’s plant a seed in the kids that causes them to want to continue to help their community as adults.
