  • On Tuesday, April 30 the rising 6th graders will visit Spring Hill 9:00-10:30. Please limit traffic in the hallways and ensure students are quiet and compliant. 6th and 7th grades will switch elective and lunch times on this day to allow 6th grade teachers to participate in the visit.

  • Our faculty meeting has been changed to May 13, 2019 for EOG test training. Every tested subject will have to be trained and a EOG video will be produced for staff to view. This training will be long because of it. Mr. Dunham will do his best to make it as interesting as possible. :)

  • PBIS Event - Monday, May 6 we will have a faculty vs. student basketball game!! (Please announce to students that OSS/ISS students from April 18 to May 6 will not be able to attend.

  • End of Year PDPs are due.

  • From Cabinet: Do you need funding for a project and/or unit in your class? Apply for a Bright Ideas Grant and receive up to $2000? Applications accepted April - September.

  • If you are interested in working Curriculum Week, please complete the application below by May 6. Applicants will be selected on success in the classroom and knowledge of learning focus/engaging and digital instructional strategies.

  • Coming Soon - Last 10 days of school plan - Be thinking

  • There will be Spartan Academy on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 30/May 1) until 5

  • EOGs are near and we are in need of proctors. Please direct volunteers to use our school website to sign up to proctor or call the front office.

  • Our May/June Parent Newsletter will go home this week.

  • Prom Tickets will go on sale this week for $10. Please be reminded that all students must have no OSS and 2 or less incidences of ISS to attend. ALL school fees must be paid.

  • April 30 - Conference Boys Track Championships at Hoke High School 4:15
  • Either April 30 / May 1st Girls Soccer First Round of Playoffs @ Rockingham (More information to come)
  • May 1 - 8th grade Prom tickets go on sale
  • May 2 - Sports Recognition Program 6:00 at SHMS (Tickets will go out on Monday, April 29th. Each child will receive a student ticket and 2 adult tickets. Additional tickets are $8)

  • May 3 - NASA club field trip
