The Gayman Gazette
What's Happening in and Around Gayman Elementary School?
A Way with Words!
Science Fair Success!
What do rubber eggs, hydroponic gardens, robots, and Venus Flytraps have in common? They, and more, filled Gayman Elementary during their recent science fair. To prepare, students defined their questions, worked on experiments, and presented their processes and results. Everything culminated at the fair on Thursday evening, January 24th, as 140 students from Kindergarten through Sixth-grade demonstrated their projects and shared their new-found knowledge with guests.
Thank you to our Superintendent, Dr. Green and our Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Weitzel, for joining us.
Special Persons' Day
For security reasons it is imperative that we receive responses by Friday, February 8th so that guests can be registered. Guests who have not been registered by the deadline will not be permitted in the building.
Our students can’t wait to celebrate the magic of Dr. Seuss with their special guests!
A Day of Service
On Janurary 21st, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, 47 students from Gayman participated in 5 different service projects. The projects were for the following organizations:
Quilts for Kids
Bucks County Housing Group
Peace Valley Nature Center
The children did a fantastic job and in the process touched the lives of at least 350 individuals.
