Mrs. Howards Class

'Tis the Season

What we are working on in class...

This week we are working on Morphology. We are studying the Prefixes of Bi, Tri, and Quad. Please make sure your child knows how to spell the words as well as know the meaning of the prefixes.

We are deep into our Personal Narratives. I have enjoyed reading all of the kids narratives and we will be wrapping them up in the next week or so.

We just started our Solar system unit!!! I am so excited about this unit. Students are becoming great system thinkers as well as demonstrating the process of inquiry. Please make sure that your son/daughter is keeping track of the moon phases each night.
