Dear HTS Families,

I am very pleased to announce to you that Mrs. Amanda Longden will be the principal of Holy Trinity School, effective July 1. Many of you have had children in Mrs. Longden’s class so you know that she is a faithful Catholic, an effective educator, and a dedicated servant of the Lord. I’m confident that her many skills will also serve her well in her new administrative role. Furthermore, her knowledge of Holy Trinity and familiarity with parents and students will help us start strong in August, even with extra precautionary measures that may be mandated. We are currently searching for a 1st grade teacher.

I am also happy to announce that Mrs. Jayne Steiner will be our new 5th grade teacher. Mrs. Steiner is a longtime member of Holy Trinity Parish. She comes to us from St. Kilian School in Hartford, where she taught for 23 years. She will be a great addition to our wonderful staff.

Please join me in thanking Mrs. Dumproff and Ms. Roedl for their service to Holy Trinity School this past year. We wish them both the very best in the future.

Finally, please know of my gratitude to you for choosing to be part of the Holy Trinity family. While the past several months challenged parents, students, and teachers in many ways, everyone rose to the challenge and found new and creative ways to fulfill our mission. I look forward to getting off to a great start in August. Know of my prayers for your family. I hope you have a great summer!

While Scrip sales have been suspended due to the Corona virus, please consider using the Online Ordering for eGift cards or to reload your existing cards. You will need to pay online with your credit card or link your bank account, following the directions on the website. There are many on-line shopping options that offer ecards including Amazon, Wal-Mart, Kohls, Target, etc. If you wish to reload your existing cards, please remember that it has to be a gift card purchased from Holy Trinity Scrip within the last 12 months and not have a $0 balance for more than 60 days. It only takes a few minutes to get started. Here’s how:

1. Go to ShopWithScrip.com and select Join a Program. Or on your phone, go to MyScripWallet.com and choose Create an Account.

2. You’ll be asked for an Enrollment Code. Enter 4C5B12214796 (case sensitive) and select Register.

3. Fill in the enrollment form to finish setting up your account.

4. Register your phone for two-step verification.

5. Once your account is set up, you will have the option to link a bank account to easily pay using your checking or savings account. Or you can use a credit card by entering your card information at checkout. The fee for using your bank account is 15 cents per order. Fees for credit cards are 2.6% of your order.

6. Now you’re ready to shop and earn online.
