This week & Looking ahead:
Fever or chills
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Muscle or body aches
New loss of taste or smell

Students need to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth throughout the school day. Periodic mask breaks are permitted, including during student lunch periods. Please email CovidResponseTeam@northwoodcs.org with any updates such as positive test results or vaccination status.
The COVID-19 quarantine period will continue to be 10 days from the date of a positive test result. This is subject to change as we receive additional guidance from the Department of Health. Lunar New Year 2022: Year of the Tiger
People living in China and in Chinese communities throughout the world annually celebrate the Chinese New Year. It is a 15-day festival that begins with the new moon that occurs sometime between January 21 and February 20 according to Western calendars. Festivities last until the full moon. The holiday is sometimes called the Lunar New Year because the dates of celebration follow the phases of the moon.
Home to the second-largest Chinatown on the East Coast and a vibrant Asian population, it’s no surprise that Philadelphia has many Lunar New Year celebrations each year. Check out the Lunar New Year at Dilworth Park: Saturday, January 29, 2022 | 5-7 p.m. Dilworth Park is the spot for traditional lion dances, ice skating, and a special Lunar New Year menu in the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin. Before or after the event, explore all the winter happenings that make up this year’s Winter at Dilworth Park programming. Where: Dilworth Park, 1 S. 15th Street
