Teachers reward student efforts
Fourth grade teachers at John Wetten Elementary were determined to celebrate their students’ accomplishments despite the challenges posed by distance learning.
After saving up all the golden tickets students earned in October for Fourth grade teachers at John Wetten Elementary held a drawing and delivered pizzas to three lucky students in each class. To enter the drawing, the students earned golden teachers throughout the month of October for being safe, respectful, and responsible.
“We loved the opportunity to connect with our students, and we were careful to wear masks and keep our distance,” said teacher Emily Morse. “We are so proud of their schoolwork this fall, because we know distance learning isn’t easy.”
