Amendment 2
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
On December 15, 1791 this amendment was passed.
This amendment is still important because if we couldn't have guns we couldn't protect our families and people would be even more crazy then what they are now. Not just anyone can have a gun.
Amendment 13
Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
On December 6, 1865, the 13th amendment was passed
The 13th amendment is still important because it created a constitutional amendment that banned slavery in ALL of the American states.
The 16 Amendment
The United States Constitution allows the Congress to levy an income tax without apportioning it among the states or basing it on the United States Census.
This was passed on February 3, 1913
So the people wont make a lot of money and don't have to pay as much to the people that do make a lot of money.
