The Benton ASB/Leadership has established the following events for each day this week, and the PTSA will be delivering treats to the classes with the most participation in Spirit Day on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Spotlight on Learning: Beginning Drama
In Beginning Drama students are learning about the basic foundations of theatre while experiencing other cultures from around the world. They have watched a series of videos hosted by Broadway actors introducing new concepts and learned how these concepts and backgrounds are used in Broadway productions. Students explore the concept, create something, and reflect on what they learned. It has been pretty fun so far! In this assignment, students chose a scene from The Lion King Jr. to act it out, create a tableau, or a stop motion movie. Sasha’s stop motion movie really stood out.

The Counselor's Corner
Hello Students and Parents, it's Ms. Allie here!
Is there anything I can do to help you out?
If you're feeling the need for regular counseling, have your parents complete the consent form linked here, and contact Ms. Ridgeway to complete a referral form.
You can also check out the District's Mental Health and Wellness website for more resources to support students and families during this difficult time.
Contests, Contests, Contests!
Have you joined the Benton PTSA yet? The PTSA does a lot to support our students, and your support of them is vital! Can we get more parents joining this year than last? Coming up soon we will have Benton Restaurant Night fundraisers, but we're currently engaged in a Battle of the Schools for clothing donations. If you've cleaned out your closets and are looking for someplace to donate them, look no further than the green and white USAgain bin located near the big sliding gate in the school parking lot.
