Math

This week in math we partial products. We learned one strategy for partial products with 2 digit by 2 digit numbers. One of the strategies we learned was the Bowtie method. For example 99 multiplied by 99 = 9,801. You first do 90 times 90 = 8,100 then you do 9 times 90 =810 then you do 90 times 9 = 810 then you do 9 times 9 = 81 then you add them up and get the answer of 9,801.That’s the bowtie method.
Math was the best subject this week!!!
