Weekly Team News -- May 15th
We are in the homestretch. The final nine days of school are upon us. We have lots of special activities coming up, and our final projects will be finished and shared. Here we go!
The big 'Museum' projects are due this Thursday, May 18th. The ELA pieces include an essay and a poster. The social studies piece is a 3 dimensional 'artifact' that goes with their topic. Requirements and rubrics should be in their packets. Students will share with peers in class this Thursday and Friday. Parents are invited to view the projects in our 5th Grade Showcase on Tuesday, May 23rd, from 10:00-11:30 in the 5th grade area.
Students are working on long division this week. They will be completing a movie marathon project that will show their division skills.
Students continue to work on the Invention Convention projects. The projects (logbook, prototype, and presentation) are all due on Thursday.
Students continue to work on their Museum projects. Social Studies aspects include the timeline and images for their posters, and their museum artifact.
