Busy Times!!!!

We have been busy around Midland with reaching the 100th day of school, Valentines day, Presidents Day, and celebrating Black History Month! Time sure has flown by.

Attendance is looking outstanding for the thunderbirds, great job flying high and SOARing though the sky. Lets keep it up. We have many projects under way from the up coming Dr. Suess week to our yearbook being in the works. Please send your teacher pictures of your students doing this work during the day for the yearbook.

Mar. 4 at 2pm -PTO meeting

Mar. 5 - End of Trimester 2

Mar. 19 from 11am-1pm at Grab and Go, Easter Bunny

Mar. 22- Apr. 2 - Spring Break

Green Eggs and Ham in French...

Enjoy a classic Dr. Suess Story in French. So many students and families know this story by hear. Have fun hearing it and trying to figure out the words. You will know a could by the end of the story. Happy Dr. Suess Week!!!

Grab and Go!

DO not miss out!!!! We have two visitors coming to Midland during Grab and Go in March. On March 2nd Dr. Suess characters will be arriving from 11am - 1pm. Next, on March 19th the Easter Bunny will be hopping on by to see everybunny.

Attendance Matters!!!

Be sure to call in OR log into your parent portal when your child will not be attending school for a day.

If your child misses their Zoom lesson they can still compleate their daily classwork. Pleases forward any doctor notes to the school at cthomas@mvusd.net

They celebrated the 100th day of school in style!!!

Mrs. Reese's 2nd Grade Class

Mrs. Reese's class has been working on a holiday song together. Her class parents can view the videos students submitted in google classroom. They also had a full week of theme days from silly hats to pajama day.
