Sherman's March to the Sea
From Novmber 15, 1964 to December 21, 1964 Sherman and his troops marched through the state of Georiga burning everything in sight. Through the raid, the largest city in the south, Atlanta was burned to the ground. President Lincoln gave General Sherman permission for this attack because they wanted the South to come to hate war. They wanted the South to Never Forget what happened when they rebeled aginst the Union.
