Michael Jordan
The Greatest of All Time
What set him apart from others?
Michael Jordan was not just born with the ability to play basketball. In fact, he did not even make his high school basketball team. Through his work ethic and ability to never give up, he managed to make it all the way to the NBA.
His competitive drive.
Jordan was chosen as the third overall pick in the 1984 NBA Draft. Most players dream of being chosen in the top three, but anything except first would be underrating him. He kept improving his game and strengthening his weaknesses until he won the Rookie of the Year award.
Still not enough.
Although he received all of this praise he was still unsatisfied. Jordan would go on to win six NBA championships, five MVP awards and numerous offensive and defensive awards throughout his career.
