Student-Led Conferences
On Monday, March 4th, students were sent home with information regarding our upcoming conferences this spring. The letter included login information, as well as instructions on where to go to schedule a conference. Although spring conferences are not mandatory, you can sign up using the Meet the Teacher program. This is the same online booking system used in the fall to make scheduling conferences more efficient. If any issues arise while booking an appointment, please contact the office. The students will be preparing to share their academic progress with you and set goals for future learning.
You can start booking an appointment on March 4th until March 15th.

Tip of the Month
"One of the most important life skills we teach students is independence."
In 5th grade, your child participates in student-led conferences to take an active role in their own learning and to develop skills needed to self-advocate. With student-led conferences just around the corner, students prepare for the conference by selecting artifacts, discussing their progress in 5th grade, and setting goals for the remainder of the school year.
