The way the dust bowl effected the economy was it put farmers in the Great Plains on a stop because how the dust storms blow and how the crops could not stay put in the dry soil.
The beginning of the Dust Bowl
The Dust Bowl was very hard on farmers who lived in the Great Plains. Dust storms blew away many of their crops the rest were killed. Dust storms also covers houses in soot. The farmers who lived there moved to California to look for jobs on ranches or orchards.
What happend
The farmers in the Great Plains were a drought hit and caused many dust storms. The crops the farmers grew could not stay griped to the ground and flew away. The farmers moved from the dust bowl to California to start a new live.
