President's Corner by Cree Sanford
Our Terrific Third Graders had a fabulous performance this past Tuesday night!! If you were able to see it, you know how incredibly talented our Copeland Colts are. Way to go Third Graders!!!
A BIG thank you goes out to LaToi Gillyard and Jessina Flores for all of their hard work with our Music program. These ladies did a wonderful job creating the set, helping kids with their lines and putting it all together. I know Mrs. Vigil and the kids really appreciated all of their help. We are blessed with a wonderful music chairperson, fantastic helpers and fabulous teachers and staff at Copeland!
We are doing something new and exciting this year for our Spring Fundraiser!! Boosterthon BookFit is coming to Copeland!! We kick off at the end of April, but it should be a fun couple of weeks of book challenges and a book-a-thon. I hope you all have fun with it. So be looking for more information about BookFit coming soon!
Thanks for all that you do! If you have any questions regarding the PTO, as always please feel free to contact me at cree410@yahoo.com.

Third Grade Garden by Emily Bargas
Third grade has had a great start to the new year in the garden. Bonnie Plants delivered cabbage plants for all third graders as well as additional plants for our school garden. Help you child grow their cabbage at home for a chance to win a $1000 scholarship.
We are building our herb garden and are in need of bricks to divide up the herb garden bed. You can just stack them in the garden next to the picnic tables. We are also in need of hay bales if anyone has access to some.
Thank you!

Terrific Third Graders By Jennifer Emerson
There is so much happening in third grade keeping us busy lately!
Part of the 3rd grade science program is the Snake Demo which is presented by trained parent volunteers. At this time, we are in need of trained parent volunteers. Any volunteers interested in presenting the Snake demo to our 3rd graders, please contact me at selina.sauceda@gmail.com to RSVP for this training and get additional information.
If you have any small recyclable materials (ie newspapers, water bottles, magazine, cereal boxes, etc) that you would be willing to donate for science class, please send them to school with your child. Please let the materials be in relatively good condition, do not just send trash.
Phenomenal 5th Graders
