Chromebook Follow-Up

Thanks to all the parents who were able to attend our BUZZ Meetings in the last two weeks! We hope you found them helpful and informative. If you were unable to attend, teachers should have sent out the presentation by email.

One thing that was discovered is that there are ads popping up in some of the apps on student chromebooks.

When monitoring your child's chromebook usage at home, please be sure to contact your child's teacher if you notice any ads or inappropriate access on the internet. We are able to inform our tech department in order to correct anything inappropriate.

Thanks for your help!

Mentor Upstate is looking for mentors for North Pointe students! Check out the flyer below!

4K and 5K Parents: Vision Screenings

4K and 5K Parents -

On Friday you should have received a letter from me about having your child's vision screened at school. This is a service offered to all Anderson Five students in every school. If you wish for your student to have his/her vision screened at school, please return the permission form to your child's teacher by Friday, Sept. 27th.

Box Tops for Education!

BoxTops for Education are making some big changes this year and we are excited to be a part of it! Instead of clipping box tops and mailing them in, you will now be able to simply download the BoxTops app on your smart phone and scan your receipt every time you shop.

Our school will then receive credit for the BoxTop items that you purchased! So easy!

So please visit your app store and download this app as soon as possible!

In the meantime, we are STILL collecting the BoxTops that you have cut. Most products are still carrying the BoxTops that you clip and we are still happy to take them! So, you will be seeing a BoxTops sheet come home in the next couple of weeks and please send in your BoxTops as usual!

Thank you for your support in helping raise money for our AWESOME school!
