Child Care Chalkboard

March 1-31

Theme of the Month: Spring Brings New Beginnings

Summer Enrollment

Summer registration forms will be coming out right before Spring Break. Start thinking about what your needs will be for summer care. Forms will be due April 8.

We need your help!

The Youth Center has a table of take apart materials for the children to work on. This is running short on items so we could use donations. They enjoy such things as computer towers, small appliances and landline phones. Items can be dropped off at the office. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Immunization Update

When your child receives new immunizations, please bring those records in to the office. We must keep immunizations up to date on all children. Our records are checked yearly to make sure all children are current. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Don't Forget

Daylight Savings Time begins March 14. Don't forget to set your clocks ahead.

Bad Weather/Storm/Emergency Plan: (Updated policy to reflect delayed start of schools)

In the event that the center must be closed due to bad weather, staff illness, infectious disease or other misc. emergencies, we will alert you by text message or email whenever possible. ON DAYS THAT TRINITY LUTHERAN SCHOOL AND SCHOOL DISTRICT #5 CLOSES OR HAS A DELAYED START, THE CENTER WILL ALSO BE CLOSED OR WILL OPEN AT 10AM FOR ANY DELAYED STARTS. During No School days such as Christmas Break and Spring Break if the county declares an emergency travel only warning, the center will close.

Mark Your Calendars

Childcare Sunday is April 11th. We will not be singing in person at the 10:45 service as usual. We will however be providing some pre-recorded videos to be played at all services the month of April. We still invite you to attend on this special Sunday. We will be displaying children's artwork and decorating the church. If you are unable to come, Trinity Church will be posting the services on the church website. Trinity Lutheran Church Kalispell - Home (trinitykalispell.org)

Kids Say the Darndest Things

One of the five year old's moms is expecting soon. When his teachers were asking if he wanted a brother or sister he responded that he was hoping for his mom to have a gerbil instead of a baby.

Two students from the Butterfly class were having a conversation. The girl invited the boy over to her house. "You can come over because I have a boy toy. Only 1! It's handcuffs."
