I Changed my Attitude About...

I changed my attitude about how my partner and I will present our data and information on our display board. I have a new idea of how I would like the board to be displayed, but when my partner still stuck with the old one, I mashed both of of the ideas together. After that, we both agreed on one slightly different than our original idea with some of my second design.

I Became More Aware of...

I became more aware of how little we had included on our source list (bibliography), how little facts we had presented and how much time had already flown by since we had first started our exhibition. I mean, time went by so fast, too fast in fact! I realized that in order for people to follow our warnings and advise, we would need more proof that it is true, for example, a bibliography with many listed sites that we used would be a good start. Also,I decided to show how fatal car accidents can be if you don't follow the safety rules by presenting in videos of crash dummies as well as finding interesting facts concerning car safety globally and in the area.

I was Surprised About...

I was surprised about how much work Robyn and I still needed to complete such as finishing off the last few Key Concept Question, prepare our display boards, print out our information and I have to finish my dance plan with my group for the exhibition dance I'm included in. I can't believe there are only about two more weeks until the big day!

I Felt...

I felt more annoyed with my partner than usual this week because I had worked hard on hand-drawing out the letters of our 'Stay Safe in the Car!' title for the display board and then worked on coloring, outlining and designing it. But when I was almost finished, Robyn said she preferred it to be printed out then what I had already accomplished and this had annoyed me because I had spent lots of time working on it, but only for it to be rejected. I was really just angry that Robyn had not just let us use it, after all the effort and time I put into it!

I Related to...

I related to how Robyn and I were working together and how the other groups were, as well as how much we had achieved. I noticed that many other groups were also struggling to agree on everything they do and how it would be done and they also had some cooperating issues sometimes, everyone seemed to have little arguments every now and then (including me and my partner). I also noticed that some peoples actions were more complicated, time-eating and interesting than ours, but I'm not saying all of the other groups are better than ours, what I mean is that every group is weaker and stronger in their own ways.

I Demonstrated Empathy by...

I demonstrated empathy by respecting others when I went into the library to borrow a computer and I had done this by never interrupting or talking when the librarian had a lesson and was speaking. I waited until she was ready or done talking and then I would ask if I could use one of the library's iMacs. I knew I shouldn't disturb her lessons because I knew how annoying it is to have your lesson disturbed by others when you are trying to do something or listen to the teacher, I know that must be how others should feel if they were trying to learn. I also showed empathy by being as quiet as I could when working in the library while there was a lesson going on as to not disturb them for reasons I have already explained.
