Happy New Year and welcome to Term 1, 2023 at St Brendan's. We hope your whānau has been blessed with time together over the holidays and has had the oppportunity to rest and rejuvenate. We are excited to welcome our students back and extend a warm welcome to our new students who will be starting with us on Wednesday.

We encourage all families to visit before the first day of our 2023 school year. There are two opportunities for you to pop in to meet teachers, visit classrooms, drop off stationery and emergency kit/s and bring a family photo, details below.

Monday, 30 January

• School is open for visits between 2.30pm - 4.30pm

Tuesday, 31 January

• School is open for visits between 8.30am - 10.30am

Wednesday, 1 February

• First day of Term 1, 2023. School starts at 8.55am and our school gate will be open from 8.30am
• Team Newsletters and our Community Calendar sent to families

• Bee Healthy Van visiting (until 23, February)

Friday, 3 February

• Mihi Whakatau of Special Welcome at 10.15am. Welcome to all our new students, familes and staff members. Nau mai, haere mai, welcome to St Brendan’s

Please note that buliding work continues and the side access to school from Sutherland Road remains closed.
