Mrs. Stephens' Scoop

Week of December 14 - December 18th

WHAT DID WE LEARN THIS WEEK?

Math: This week in math we will be continuing to take our CBA.

Reading: This week we learned about how good readers retell stories to help them comprehend. We read different versions of the gingerbread man and practiced retelling the story.

Writing: We have been learning about procedural writing. We focused specifically on how writers write How-to stories to teach readers how to do something step by step. We wrote a procedural piece on how to make a gingerbread man.

Science: In Science this week, we learned about the seasons.
