A Message From Dr. Ricks
Parents and Friends,
What a terrific semester it has been! We have had such meaningful times together preparing for the holiday season. Thank you for helping your children with our Salvation Army Loose Change Offering. During last Wednesday's Lessons and Carols, the students dropped their money into the red buckets while singing Jingle Bells, and let me tell you, between the clinking of the coins and the joy in the voices, Grace Church was filled with the holiday spirit! Special thanks to Father Richard and Father Michael for not only planning and leading such a meaningful service, but also for guiding and supporting the spiritual development of our students all year long.
I loved seeing so many of you at tonight's Christmas program, and today as we prepared for our vacation. Many, many thanks to those of you who have helped with class parties, field trips, and organizing teacher appreciation goodies. I always tell people that one of our greatest strengths is the dedicated, amazing force that is the GES parent support system. Your children are simply wonderful, and we thank you for entrusting their daily education and well-being to us. This week, the halls have buzzed with excited students and gracious teachers, and classrooms are dressed in all their holiday glory. 2016 was an excellent year, and 2017 is shaping up to be even better. Have a safe and blessed holiday season!
Warmly,
Dr. Beth J. Ricks
