Hard Working Children
Why would children not get extra points towards their EOCTs if lets say they missed 3 days because they were extremely sick with the FLU, then they attend school and all of their classes every other day of the school year. When they are taking the EOCTs, they are exempt from the extra points awarded to students with less than 2 days absent. How is that fair?
Uncontrolling Events
Students with flawless grades and who attend school regularly cannot purposefully prevent illnesses or injuries that may cause them to miss scheduled school days. Therefore, if the student is exempt from the extra points given to students with less than 2 days absent, how is it the students fault, and why are they punished for uncontrolling events?
