Virtual College Rep Visits - Open to all students

Each fall semester, admissions representatives from colleges across the country visit the EDHS College and Career Center. This year, we will offer virtual visits via Zoom or Google Meet.

All presentations will take place on Mondays at 9am, 11am, 1pm, or 3pm. Students can attend any and all presentations they desire.

Click below to view which schools will be joining us this year and to access the presentation Zoom links. You must be logged into your EDHs student account to register.

Please note that due to virtual room capacity, these presentations can only accommodate student viewers. There will not be enough capacity for parents to join these meetings. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Accepting Applications! El Dorado County Youth Commission

Established in 2003, the Youth Commission is supported by the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors (BOS) and El Dorado County Office of Education (EDCOE). Appointed Commissioners are empowered to gather and express the opinions, ideas, and visions of our county’s youth while gaining valuable leadership skills and knowledge about our county and local government.

Students who have taken advantage of this opportunity in the past report that the skills they learned as Youth Commissioners help them in ways they didn’t expect. From interviewing for jobs, applying for scholarships, and feeling confident in challenging college classes, students praise the impact that the Youth Commission has made in their lives.

  • A resident of El Dorado County
  • A student in 9th - 12th grade during the 2021-2021 school year
