Tuning In: Sole Mate Partner
- Find your sole mate (someone with a similar shoe)
- Discuss: If you had to compare your recent work with literature and the Common Core standards to a book, movie or song title; which one would it be? Why?
- Example: If I had to compare my recent work to a book, movie, or song title it would be "The Best of Both Worlds" because I have been integrating the Common Core Standards with the C3 Framework and now my students understand the importance of literacy in other subject areas.

Unpacking Across Grade Levels
- KG Teachers and Grade 1 Teachers will pair up and work together to unpack the Reading Literature and Reading Informational Standards
- Teachers will use the Unpacking Standards Template
- Teachers will understand what proficiency looks like at, above and below their grade level

- In groups teachers will work collaboratively to apply their knowledge and understanding of the standards with a group of I CAN Statements for the Common Core Reading Literature and Information Standards
