Be The "I" in KIND

Look who was caught being KIND! Cole donated decorations for the Art Club to decorate for the Halloween Dance. Zooey and Katelyn put away all of the games after the dance was over. Bri, Lydia, Emma, and Willow noticed a classmate who didn't have a group for a review game. They brought their peer into their group and made sure to encourage and support them throughout the activity! Callie stayed after the dance last Friday to helped clean the cafeteria. Brooke and Bristol have been using tech tools to help out new students in class. It's small acts like these that make our school a great place!

Halloween Fun

Our students came up big in our Riley Halloween Costume Fundraiser. Each student who entered the costume contest donated $2 to Riley Children's Hospital. The winning students based on a school-wide vote were Bristol S. (Ronald McDonald), Miles S. (Chicken), and Luke S. (Daniel LaRusso).

Many CMS student groups also ran candy distribution tables at our MCCSC Community Trick or Treat night on Monday of last week. These students donated many pounds of candy and hours of their time to make sure that younger students have a chance at a safe and fun trick or treating event.

Updates from the Cafeteria

To deposit money into your child's lunch account electronically visit myschoolbucks.com to create an online account. You can also download the mobile app. Students can bring in cash to lunch, but sometimes that money gets stuck in pockets instead of deposited with the cafeteria staff. Students may bring a lunch from home on any day they choose.

Student Council Elections

The CMS Student Council will hold elections for new grade level presidents on November 7th (Indiana election day). Click the boxes Below to submit a brag!

Is your student participating in something outside of school this summer where they have been honored/awarded (camp/4H/athletics/scholarship/community service)? We want to recognize those students who are engaged in service opportunities/extra curricular organizations outside of school and receive some mark of distinction. Use the Student Brag box below to let us know what to recognize your student for and send a photo to Mr. Blickenstaff via email!

Is there a teacher at CMS who went above and beyond recently? Use the Teacher Brag box to let us know what special thing that teacher did for your student, so that we can celebrate and recognize them!
