Google 201

All Things Google: Intermediate Skills

Inspired by feedback from our member schools, the Southern Indiana Education Center is offering summer opportunities for Google professional learning. The over-arching theme to all of the days will be supporting YOU, the educator, in Google integration. Participants can expect to:

  1. Build interactive lessons using Google tools
  2. Explore the use of Blogger
  3. Use Google forms and sheets to collect, organize, and make sense of classroom data
  4. Use a YouTube channel for everyone's benefit
  5. Customize learning experiences with Chrome
  6. Explore Google Classroom including strategies for managing assignments, creating rosters, and providing effective feedback to students
  7. Ask questions as needed throughout the day!
The Southern Indiana Education Center is happy to bring this session to educators around our region. We will also be including a two options for Google 101 sessions for those that feel they need the basics (June 27 and July 17 ). Please join DeAnne Taggart, the SIEC Director of Professional Learning, for a fun and informative day.
