Personal Strengths
I chose this career because I love to have an adventure and I love to travel. I also love to fly in planes. The skills I would need for this job are Math, Technology/Computers, Science, and Geography. I am good with those Skills.
Education And Training
This job needs a Bachelors Degree and I can get a Masters Degree. I would chose my Degree in Math for this job. The training for this job is not that easy. I have to go to flight school to learn my job. The three Certifications I need for this job are my Student Pilot Certification, Private Pilot Certification, and my Commercial Pilot Certification.
Work Environment
My Job would be very loud, busy, but very cool and AWESOME!!! I would be working in a office directing flight plans and outdoors checking the plane for takeoff. Obviously for a pilot I am going to travel a lot for my job. This job will be stressful because you have to be on time and have to safely land and take off. I could do this because I can persevere so It would be a piece of cake!! Also, I will work with people and technology for my job and, my schedule for my job will change every week so I won`t fly the same days each week.
Salary
I will get paid $135,800 dollars a year in U.S. currency. To determine how much money I get it I have to have hours. You have to fly 70 hours total each month. If you get more you hours you can get more money. It all depends on flight hours to get your money.
Job Outlook
My job is good in Georgia because we have Delta so it would not be hard to find a job because in 2023 it has a +11%. That is pretty good for finding a job. For my job it is likely to have a promotion because you move up in pilots and what you do and you also get promoted to bigger airplanes. I really want this career when I grow up and I will try my best to get there!!!
