5th Six Weeks Wrap-up
Mimi Farley Elementary
Dear Boys Ranch Community,
We have reached the end of another six weeks, with only one more learning period left for the 2015-2016 school year. Students in fourth and fifth grade have completed one part of STAAR, and the weather is growing nicer each day. Students are waiting for summer and a new school year will be around the corner.
Tomorrow is an early release day as it is the end of the six weeks. We ask that if your child is missing any work that they stay after school to complete those assignments. Report Cards will head home on Tuesday, and we will be releasing elementary students from the dining hall at 12:15. Please meet your student at their table inside the dining hall tomorrow. Students will not report to lunch until 11:45 if you would like to eat with your child.
We also have our 4th and 5th grade students attending the College and Career Day in the Fine Arts Building from 9:30 to 10:15 on Friday, and we encourage you all to attend with your children. It is never to early to start discussing the future, and how our children's today can effect their tomorrow.
We expect our results back for fifth grade students STAAR information by April 22nd. All other school results will be reported by the end of May. Unfortunately we will not have STAAR scores for fourth grade writing until then.
Family Science Night for BR is tomorrow, and dinner will be provide by the Dipple. Please contact Shelli Miner at shelliminer@calfarley.org if you are planning to attend.

We appreciate all of the volunteers we received last year, and if you are interested in helping out this year please contact Mrs. Williams in the front office. We will be hosting different learning events through our Physical Education Classes and end with our Track and Field Day. If you have something that you feel would benefit our children, we are always welcome to new ideas!
Thank you for being such a great support to our elementary children, and we look forward to another great six weeks!
