You Make a Difference
From his fun shirts to his galaxy high tops shoes Mr. Taylor has brought his first year at Birdneck some wonderful support for all the students and staff. When he was first subbing for classes, Mrs. Lutturell's students really enjoyed his help and always wanted him to come and visit them. Now, with him being in Gym they get to see him everyday and he does not hesitate to really help the students learn things in gym. He is very caring and shows a lot of patience and interest in the students when they are having trouble or need a person to talk too. Thank you Mr. Taylor for being a fun and positive role model for the students here at Birdneck, we all really appreciate you, you truly make a difference.
Digital Learning Day, Thursday, February 27th
The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) is encouraging all schools to participate in
Digital Learning Day, Feb. 27. This event is designed to celebrate digital learning in addition to
transformational teaching and learning practices. This is also a perfect time to revisit internet
safety and digital citizenship.
Please share the Google Doc below with your students via Schoology. There are several options for how students can participate in the Digital Learning Day.
