Photography
My Passion Project
Introduction
I have always thought photography was interesting and I like taking pictures of stuff so I thought "Why not do photography?" And so that's what I'm doing I hope y'all like it.
The Basics (or not so basics)
Photography is harder than people that think. It's more than just pointing a camera and pressing a button. You have to know your camera and account for exposure, the master lighting of the area of which you're taking the picture in, the depth of field, the right perspective (angle), the composition of the background (the organization of the objects in backfield, and perfecting the post-perfecting (kind of like Photoshop but its only for small mistakes, also an essential skill for digital photographers.
The Pros and Cons
There are a few pros and very few cons of photography. Let's get the cons out of the way.
1. No guaranteed income 2. Having no help or assistance. 3.Very expensive 4. Long weeks (80+ hours sometimes) 5...... Almost everybody's fear Loneliness
Now for the upside. The pros. 1. Living your dream the way you want to.
2. The chance of making lots of money 3. Never knowing what's going to happen. You might get booked by a movie star for all you know. 4. Choosing your own work hours 5. Making a difference in peoples lives 6. ( My personal favorite.) Seeing the happiness in peoples faces as they look at the pictures.
The Information
Now I mentioned before it was expensive and it is. A good camera could cost you anywhere from $100 to $3000. Who knows but it pays off. Another thing is people always wonder why photographer charge so much but its to pay for equipment. They have to charge 2-3 time what they take how otherwise they wouldn't have any money. Say they charge $180 then they're only actually making $60. An average photographer makes $55,000 per year. Photography can be a complicated thing but in the end it's satisfying and it pays off.
