The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
Using daydream in a text structure, Walter Mitty is unable to stand up for himself.
His wife pushes him around
Walter's wife told him to do everything her way, as in wearing the gloves, or having the car's speed limit is 40. "You know I don't like to go more than forty." This shows that Mrs. Mitty is very picky with things. As for the gloves, Mrs. Mitty told Walter to wear the gloves that he has, he put it on but once when his wife is gone, he takes it off.
The parking attendant helped Mitty, but in a rude way.
When Mitty was unable to get the chains off the tires, a parking attendant came in. The Parking attendant was talking to him rudely, and acts like they know more than Mitty.
A woman was laughing at Walter
When Mitty was going to buy some puppy biscuits, he said "puppy biscuits" aloud. When the woman was walking pass by, she laughed at him. Walter didn't say anything to the lady and kept walking, but in a faster pace.
Conclusion
In conclusion, Walter Mitty was not able to stand up for himself and that daydreaming was able to help him to relief from the things that is happening in real life.
