Reflections ~ Look Within
We are proud to launch our Reflections Program at Blanton for the 2019-2020 school year! With positive recognition as the focus of this program, rather than competition, students of all ages and abilities can experience the benefits of creative expression and help in finding their own voice in telling their unique story.
This year, the theme will be “Look Within”, and all entries must be created specifically to support this theme. Students can enter any or all of the six art categories. Students may also submit multiple entries within a single arts category.
*To be eligible, one person from the student’s household must be a current member of the Blanton PTA. For a full eligibility description, information on rules, and student entry forms, please visit txpta.org. Entries may be submitted to Ms. Valenta no later than October 31st! Additional questions may be sent to Nicole Marenic at artseducation@blantonpta.org.
Students may explore their creativity through one or more of the following categories: Visual Arts, Music Composition, Dance Choreography, Literature, Film Production, and Photography. The deadline for local submission is October 31, 2019. Entries may be turned in to Ms. Valenta.
