Short a word examples - mat, clap, ham
Long a word examples - gate, game, baseWe have finished all the short vowel sounds and long vowel sounds and although it has been difficult for our First Graders to discriminate between ten different vowel sounds, I am so proud of them. Great job practicing with them at home families!
